Dr. Bennett was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and received his undergraduate training and medical degree from the University of Arkansas. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Chicago Medicine, before moving to Philadelphia for Interventional Radiology training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bennett is certified by the American Board of Radiology and specializes in Interventional Radiology. He was awarded the John Fennessey Award for Academic Achievement in Thoracic Imaging by the University of Chicago in 2013. He is a member of many local, national and international specialty societies, and he continues to pursue his research and teaching interests. He continues to write and edit topics in interventional radiology and vascular imaging. He has special interests in interventional oncology and minimally invasive cancer therapies, venous and arterial vascular disease, pain management, palliative care, biliary intervention, reproductive health, trauma intervention, cost and quality accounting, and radiation safety.
