Dr. Peter Monteagudo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Monteagudo completed his Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology fellowship through Endeavor Health, a University of Chicago affiliate.

He brings a wealth of clinical, research, and leadership experience to our practice. His expertise and leadership skills have led to research roles across multiple specialties, with contributions including academic posters, presentations, and case reports. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of professional leadership and mentorship roles, including Chief Radiology Resident, committee member, CEO, and mentor.

Outside of radiology, he enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle. His personal interests include racing, pickleball, snowboarding, weightlifting, and following NFL football. He also has a strong interest in real estate investment and especially enjoys spending time with animals, with a particular soft spot for dogs.
