Dr. Marc Mabray was born in and grew up in Albuquerque, NM and attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY before returning home for medical school at University of New Mexico. He completed a radiology residency, an NIH funded T-32 research fellowship, and a neuroradiology fellowship all at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Mabray and family then returned back home to New Mexico where he worked as radiology faculty at the University of New Mexico for more than 9 years before joining X-ray Associates of New Mexico. In addition to clinical radiology Dr. Mabray was heavily involved in research, education, and leadership at the University of New Mexico including serving as Chief of Neuroradiology, Neuroradiology Fellowship Director, and Vice-Chair of the UNM Hospital Professional Practice Committee. He has had multiple research grants, many publications and presentations, and has received multiple awards including the UNM Radiology Chair’s MVP award. He has his board certification in radiology and subspecialty certification in neuroradiology and is an active member in the American Society of Neuroradiology and Western Neuroradiologic Society.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports, and outdoor activities.
