For more than 75 years, X-Ray Associates of New Mexico has provided comprehensive diagnostic and interventional radiology services to patients across New Mexico. Recognized as a leader in breast imaging, our Breast Health and Imaging Center was the first dedicated women’s imaging center in Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. Our center specializes in advanced breast care services, including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast biopsy, and gynecologic ultrasound.
Committed to innovation and excellence, X-Ray Associates was the first in New Mexico to offer Breast MRI services in 2000 and 3D Mammography (Tomosynthesis) in 2012. Today, we continue our commitment to delivering state-of-the-art technology, compassionate care, and the highest quality breast and diagnostic imaging services for our patients.

Women should have a screening mammogram every year beginning at age 40.
We are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology and have subspecialty training in Breast Imaging. Our state-of-the-art imaging services include CT, MRI, Bone Densitometry (DEXA), Mammography, Ultrasound, walk in X-ray, breast interventions and genetic testing.
Diagnostic Services
With the opening of the Breast Health and Imaging Center, X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is taking women’s health care to the next level.
“This is a game changer,” says Medical Director of XRANM’s Breast Imaging Center. “Our ultra-modern facility will be the premier destination for breast care in New Mexico, integrating outpatient radiology, breast surgery and so much more, all in a warm, supportive environment. optimism is echoed by the entire X-Ray Associates staff and management. Numerous locations will now consolidate and operate out of the new Breast Health and Imaging Center (BHIC), a 35,000 square foot facility in Albuquerque that offers a variety of services in one place for patient convenience.
“After years of planning, hard work and a whole lot of dreaming, we feel like we’ve created a destination that offers pretty much everything to the women of New Mexico, especially those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer” says Sagit Frasier, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our services are state-of-the-art. The physicians and staff are top notch, and we’ve done it all with a laser focus on the overall patient experience.”
The BHIC was created to be a destination where patients can see multiple specialists in one place rather than traveling from location to location. “Our quality screening and diagnostic imaging, combined with prompt surgical intervention, result in the best possible outcomes for patients with breast cancer,” adds “The new BHIC gives patients all three elements in a single outpatient building and does so at a fraction of the cost that hospitals currently charge.”
This new center will offer comprehensive, state-of-the-art imaging services to include walk in X-ray, CT, MR, Bone Densitometry, Ultrasound, Mammography, breast interventions and genetic testing.
